Plain and simple - I BACK THE BLUE! One of the things I am most proud of is organizing a fundraiser for a West Jordan Police Officer who was shot while taking a gang member out of a truck. I contacted the owner of Redemption Bar and Grill, Bryan Ellison, and asked him if he would partner with me to help this young officer and his precious wife. He was on board. We raised a great deal of money and presented it to the officer at a dinner at the restaurant. It was an honor to be able to help him understand how much we value the bravery of the police who serve us.
For some crazy reason, the media has pushed a narrative where police are vilified. Not on my watch. I believe I owe it to the people who are running toward what everyone else is running away from. We should be the best equipped, best trained, and best compensated police force in the valley. I discussed my passion for safety in the “Community” section. POLICE=SAFETY As a council member, I will work closely with the police to ensure we are meeting their expectations of support as a governing body.
I am proud to list the Riverton Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police as an endorsement to my campaign!
